PMP

PMP is a medical device containing trichloroacetic acid, glycolic acid, malic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, panthenol, betaine, pyroglutamic acid, palmitoyl hexapeptide-19, menthol. PMP, thanks to the action of the aforementioned active principles, let you successfully treating chronoaged and photoaged skin. The exfoliating action performed by acidic pool is completed by the powerful lenitive and moisturizing activity of the other actives, promoting tissutal regeneration, cellular turnover, structural proteins’ turnover and restoring the ideal physiological condition of the skin. Moreover, PMP is coadjuvant to reduce cutaneous fine imperfections like enlarged pores, scarring results (acne, varicella,…), fine lines and hyperchromic spots.

Indication for use:

– Cutaneous revitalization of face, neck, dècolletè, hands.
– Cutaneous revitalization of body.
– Attenuation of skin discolouration.
– Oily, impure and finely imperfect skin (enlarged pores, fine lines, scarring results).

Protocol and destination of use:

A full protocol is a session every 1-2 weeks for a total of 4-6 sessions, depending on doctor’s opinion and aim to achieve. Use 1,5 – 2 mL of product for each of the following part: face, neck, decolletè, hands. For body areas 1 mL every 10 cm x 10 cm (100 cm2).

Application technique:

– Accurately clean the area to be treated before applying the product and remove make-up if present.

– With a syringe of a needle 19 G, pierce the rubber stopper and prelate from the bottle the necessary product. Remove the needle and distribute the content on the area of interest.

Massage with nitrile gloves until complete absorption, wait 3-5 minutes and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

– Apply sun protecting cream SPF 50 for the first 48 hours after the treatment, don’t expose to sun or tanning lights, avoid hard training and extreme weather conditions.

Adverse events:

Common side effects include redness, edema, hypersensitivity of the skin. Usually they last less than 48 hours and do not require any specific therapy. Rare adverse events include erythema post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and infection. As described in literature peelings can cause adverse events like herpetic riactivation, allergic reaction, dermatitis. Customer has to inform the doctor of any of these or other adverse events. Professionist has to inform the distributor as soon as possible and advice the proper solution.

Contraindications:

PMP can not be used during pregnancy or breast feeding, can not be used by subjects with autoimmune pathologies or skin deseases, with proved hypersensibility to one or more active principles (expecially salicylic acid), by immunosuppressed subjects, in presence of tumors on the area to be treated, altered skin condition, herpes or if patients tend to develope hypertrophic scars, cheloids or cutaneous inflammation.

Warning:

Professional medical device for external use. Don’t use if package is open or damaged. Avoid the contact with eyes and mucosas. In case of accidental contact rinse with plenty of running water or eye washes.

Use within indicated expiry date.

Dispose as hazardous waste due to the mandatory requirements, warning class: HP4, HP5, HP6, HP14. Use with caution on patients recently had herpes or often have herpes, recent dermatologic treatments, infections or immunosuppressive therapy.
